Her journey began at a young age, where her natural creativity and appreciation for design quickly evolved into a lifelong pursuit. In 2020, she refined her expertise by earning her diploma in Interior Design and Wedding & Event Planning, blending technical knowledge with her signature creative vision.
In 2021, Claudia was appointed as the lead wedding coordinator for a prestigious winery in British Columbia, where she specialized in orchestrating luxury weddings defined by intentional design, seamless execution, and elevated guest experiences.
Today, Claudia is recognized for her ability to bring a refined, modern elegance to every event she touches — creating bespoke celebrations that are both visually striking and effortlessly executed.

Hi My name is Claudia Barata and I am the Founder/CEO of Lavish Wedding and Event Planning. My passion for events and design started at a young age, and I never looked back. Inspired to create a career from my passion I went on to continue my education and in 2020 received my diploma for interior design and wedding and event planning. In 2021 I was hired by a Winery in BC as their top wedding coordinator, planning luxury, design heavy weddings.

We cover all planning and organization, day of coordination, direction, and coordination during rehearsal and day of your wedding.
